We are pleased to welcome you to Pomona Bistro and Wine Bar, located on North Orange Avenue at Citrus Square in Downtown Sarasota. The restaurant is designed and flavored by two of Sarasota's most sought after chef-restaurateurs -- executive chef Ryan Boeve and pastry chef Arthur Lopes, both of Zoria notoriety. Warm colors, rustic accents and inviting table settings make your visit a relaxing break from your busy life as you savor Pomona's eclectic selection of good food and wines.
We strive to offer the finest and freshest local ingredients in a varied menu that reflects the diversity of the chefs. Pomona's purveyors include local farmers, ranchers and fishermen whenever possible. Only organic produce is used, as well as grass-fed beef and seasonal wild-caught fish. Our small plates, salads, main plates and desserts are handcrafted every day by our chefs in an ever-evolving menu emphasizing the flavor of Florida's nuanced seasons.
Pomona Bistro and Wine Bar's wine list was created to complement the food menus. Like the dinner and lunch menus, the wine list evolves throughout the seasons with heavier reds in the winter and lighter whites and rosés in the spring and summer. The list features wines from California, Oregon, France, Italy and Spain. Our skilled servers can help identify personal tastes and make recommendations to please your palate. To bring out the best flavors, wines will be decanted and served by the quartino (approximately 1-1/2 glass), half carafe (approximately 2-1/2 glasses) or by the bottle.
